NO, THAT IS NOT A RETRO FIT KIT, that is a stock set up for a roller equipped block, a reduced base circle cam is obvious = small skinney core

So if they are retro lifters do they still need the link bars.

This is a retro kit, but the lifters don't have the link bars.

It says something about the base size will not fit HO motors, so i take it this is the kit i need, and then i would also need the Retro Fit thing.

$hit i am lost

I want to make my block roller, with the cam, lifters all that good stuff.

What do i need.

i don't want to spend 400-700 get the wrong **** and then install it.

sorry to confuse you that kit may work, it says it has a reduced base circle roller cam and I was only going off the pic and pic may not be correct, if it's a reduced base circle cam then it should come with factory roller lifters and all you'd need is the spider retainer and h-bars.......also that other cam you listed had almost .600 lift, to much cam most likely for the intended build. the one in the kit you just listed would be better

I was told today if it was not a 351 i do not need a reduced base cam.

So if i do need one, i just order any lifters i want, get the spyder retro fit, and then just call some place an tell them i need a reduced base cam.
