Default My 351 build ideas...

Lack of funding decided to rear its ugly head and kill my ideas for a 427, so I decided to do a stock lower rebuild of this 351 i'm getting, .010 bearings with a .030 bore, so.. 357 i guess?
anyway.. i'm looking at some parts and wanted some input.

Cam choice
Heads
Intake
Carb

As of right now I'm not totally set on that cam, but based on my reading, its almost exactly what I want.

Whatcha think?

why run a retro cam in the set up??? you can run normal flat tappet cams for 351's in your case, that is essentialy a roller cam adapted for use with flat tappet lifters

i'm trying to do a full roller setup, and that picture isn't a good representation. these are the lifters in the kit

What year is your 351W block? Is it a roller block?

I would drop the hdy. roller use a flat solid cam,(way less money) will make more usable power,I think weiand has a better dual plane, bigger carb 700 750.If you plan for a bigger engine in the future you might rethink manifold Victor..02

I would rethink your carb choice. These carbs are garbage.
I am running the same carb.
