Breaking Dizzy Rotors?
Ok so my female friend has my a 95 like mine thats bone stock save for exhaust. She called me a couple hours ago and was stalled in the middle of the road. I got down there, pushed to a parking lot and discovered that the metal peice was broke clean off the dizzy rotor. So I go across the street and get a new one, and put it in.
About an hour later, she calls again, it died again, near her house. I get there, new rotor broken same way. So I throw on an extra cap and rotor I had lieing around, now it cranks fine and not breaking rotor, but it still wont start, sounds like no spark.
After the gym Im going to pick up a new coil since hers looks original, but what could cause the rotor breaking?
