Default 1987 LX Fender/Bumper Cover issue

Hey guys, thanks in advance for your assistance. I recently purchased an 87 LX 5.0 that I am just now starting to restore. The problem I ran in to today is that the front bumper cover and the front fenders are no where near lining up. The front fender is about 21" from top to bottom and the bumper cover is around 22.5" from top to bottom. The bumper cover protrudes past the fender by about 1.5" on the bottom when they are lined up at top. The rest of the fender matches perfectly including the hood lines and the door lines and both of the fenders are new but look like everything matches up other than the bumper cover. I don't know if the fenders are for something else but all of the other body lines line up. Any ideas? I have pictures and will get them up if I can in a few minutes. Can't post pics, so here:

Those fenders are bare. There are two moldings that run lengthwise in those grooves and then a fender extension that hangs off the lower front. They are different for 91-93 due to a different fender.

Thanks for both replies. So I need molding and fender extensions? Did the pictures come through fine?

make sure you get those from an 87-89 car. In '90 the fenders were widened to compensate for the switch to 16" wheels. The difference is mostly in the front.
