Help in a fun way
Looks like we got a contract on our house. Wife says I can spend $5000 on car Would like advice on getting in the 12's on 1/4 mile. I have change 3:73 gears, steada suspension, cai, steda shifter. I want to change exhaust, headers, heads and do a vortec supercharger. Question 1 is it possible Qustion 2 what parts names would you recomend? BTW Stock 1995 5.0 48,000 miles. I would appreciate any help guys. Thanks

Well i would say if you want something that will add more power, and a little more effiecient. I would say get a turbo charger. But if you want something a little easier to install i would get a supercharger. Turbonetics has the best supercharger kit i in my opinion. And for supercharger kenne bell. But if it came down to it and they were both the same to install i would pick a turbo anyday.

Most definitely. You would need a turbo kit, some nice turbo headers, exhaust, but you would need to upgrade your fuel system, injectors, maf, throttle body, fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump, rails. You should be able to do 12's no problem. Don't quote me on this but i think depending on your mods you can gain anywhere from 9 -15 horses for each pound of boost. So if you're running about 12psi with all the supporting mods you should gain well over 100 horses.
