Default Fuel Pressure ?'s

How do I test the fuel pressure on my 95 GT while it is running? I have the pressure tester and I know how to hook it up but was unsure if I could start the car and let it run while hooked up to the schrader valve on my fuel rail. What kinda of numbers should I see with a stock FP? Thanks!

yes you can start the car. take the vacuum line off the fpr, start the car and take a look at the gauge. should be in the 39-41psi range
