Default jack point

ok dumb question and if its in the wrong section i apologize my jobs comp wont let me go anywhere else...i kno ur not supposed to jack the car on the unibody rails or wutever u wanna call um cuz it will cause fender issues but once the cars jacked up can u place jackstands there to hold the car or will that too cause issues?

Use the frame rails. You can jack the car up there or by using the k-member and the rear diff. Never jack or support the car by the pinch weld.

The frame rails are the wider rails about 1 ft into the car. The pinch weld is at the bottom of the rocker panel, about 2 inches under the car.

oooo the pinch welds are the real skinny rail somewhat under the door almost?

Yea its where 2 pieces of metal are together is the pinch weld. For the best support if you do put a stand on the frame rail be sure to place them more toward the front or toward the rear most part of them so it doesn't push up into the floor pan. I'm sure you can see what I am talking about if you looked at your car.
