Hey guys.. I've got a 94 GT convert, and I'm planning to install a markVIII electric fan a buddy of mine put one in his fox body and raves about it.

I did some searching and lots of people have done this mod but I haven't seen it done to 1994. My concern is not the fan or the plug I know it will work fine. I already tested that. My concern is the coolant overflow bottle.. it is frickin huge on this year car and will obstruct the new big fan let alone I'm not sure it will even fit. thought about a newer mustang bottle.

Has anyone done this mod to a 94 and know a good work around.

You'll need to put a smaller overflow in since there will be less room to work with. There are many aftermarket different sized ones out there. You'll just have to do a lil research on which one will work/fit best.

its at the rear of the lower intake manifold...should have used search or started your own thread
