cam question??

i have a 88gt without mass air and i was told that i would have to convert it to run a cam. anyone know anything about this? thanks for the info!!

you dont HAVE TO convert to mass air, but it will alleviate many many issues that you MAY encounter when swapping to an aftermarket cam.

What is your reason for wanting to do a cam swap on your motor? If its "just for the sound" save yourself the aggravation and put your money somewhere else. It has been proven that cam swaps on stock long blocks (stock bottom end, stock heads, stock intake) actually LOSE average horsepower. You may gain some PEAK power, but over all the car will actually get slower!
