Default running a little warm I think

My 87 is modified pretty good vintage gt-40top end iron heads intake crane cam and vavle train stock fuel and ignition. I would like to upgrade but I think I have topped things out as far as the cooling system....its stock also with a clutch fan. the car is a tremec five speed with 4.10 gears. it runs about 2500 rpm at about 75 mph. at whatever speed it run a steady 210 deegres and the faster I run or pull hills it gets a little hotter than that about 215. Is this normal temperature or is my cooling system pushed to the limit. On a budget would like an aluminum radiator and electric fans but $$$$. any help would be appreciated. Any bigger radiator I can run, good flexalite fan? Afraid to go buying things that will not help

Run a 180 degree stat if you havent already and +1 on the rad upgrade..It will do more than the fan and look a lot better in the engine bay..Plus you get the piece of mind that whatever your mods are down the road your rad is going to be up to the task. My pick is an aluminum 2 row should be good for your setup 3 row if you want wats better

My basically stock GT runs at 210 degrees. I would not worry!

get rid of that clutch fan and get the electric fan. you can get an aluminum radiator from craigslist, turbo mustangs, or even ebay. make sure it is bigger. I have a 4 core and she runs 170 all day long at the track and cooler down the street.

I have only had the car a little over a year, my parts are not extreme but they seem to work well together. There is a little more to my car than I stated above I was just giving a quick run down to things I thought were appropriate for the question.

Bigger radiator & 180 deg. thermostat should do the trick....I would start with the thermostat first!
