engine still pinging after seafoam
I have a stock 94 GT and ran the seafoam through the brake booster and gas tank. no white smoke came out aft the treatment but the pinging stopped so I assumed whatever the seafoam was supposed to do, it did.
Yesterday I put in 89 octane (before the seafoam treatment, I was running premium and still had pinging) and the car pings when the rpms climb about 4K and the pinging gets progressively worse the higher the rpms climb.
The car has no engine modifications and I have never played around with the timing. I had new plugs, new fuel filter, air filter at about 81K. Car currently has 94K.
What should I do next? Thanks.

What do you mean by letting the engine die? What vacuum line is best to use? Or the easiest lol. I tried doing it in my fuel tank a while back and didnt notice anything havent tried the vacum line thing though.

pull the brake booster vacuum hose, let it idle suck up the fluid a little at a time when you start to run out of seafoam submerge teh vacuum line in seafoam and it will sputter, somtimes it will not die so after you submerge it and suck all of it up, turn the car off and let it sit start up in 20 min and a crap load of smoke will come out

that's exactly what I did--pullled the brake booster hose and while my dad revved the engine a little I poured seafoam into the hose, then turned the engine off and let it sit for about 20 minutes. When I started the car up, there was no white smoke at all, so I assumed the heads and intake were clean. The car didn't ping after that, but now it's pinging again. Should I seafoam it again?
