Default new motor possible

i am about to go to college but i need a new motor in my 94 gt. it has always had a oil leak coming from the crank shaft. there is a nick in it and it leaks oil out of it. i have replaced all the seals around it but it still leaks. in the future i want to do a 331. my question is since i dont have enough money to do it. can i buy the dss level 20 331 block and buy their 331 stroker kit. and use my stock heads, intake, cam? i know this sounds stupid because it would be a waste but is there any way i can do it cheap then once i am done with a year of school go back and build it the way i want it. with the AFR 185's the costom grind cam etc. etc.

i know it sounds stupid i just want to know if i can do it. as i think about it, it seems impossible to put the heads off a 302 onto a 331. but how can you put AFR's on a 302 and also on a 331?? so it makes me think i can do it..i just wont be making much power until next year when i get the money. let me know

heads dont come with a stroker. i wouldnt consider the motor bad b/c of an oil leak. add oil when you need it, and save the money and build the motor right the first time, saving money now, will cost you more later, with the price of swapping the heads over and cam, etc... in my opinion, you should get the heads, and the stroker kit, if thats what you decide, then when youre ready to work on it pay to have it done once.

yeah its not like any normal oil leak. its leaking from the crank, and i could see it real good when we had the transmission out when i was doing my clutch. the mechanic said it looked like i needed to replace my crank etc.. so its not like its a oil pan gasket. and i wouldnt pay to have anything done unless i had to. i want to get the block and build everything myself. i just wanted to get the block and run stock manifold, cam and heads for about 10,000 miles and then build it with the goods.

If it isn't a bad leak like wildstang87 said, don't worry about it. It definentally will not hurt you to do your other plan though.
