I have just installed an explorer (upper and lower) intake on my stock 5.0 engine. Is there a slight horsepower increase? how much higher is the HP gain if I install a 70mm TB?

if you dont need a 70mm tb dont use one. and youll see a good of gains

If you put a 70mm TB on you wont gain anything unless you port the explorer intake to match. big hole to small hole doesnt change anything [8D]

let me know how it works for ya, im probably going to do the same but with a 65mm TB and egr eliminator

a 65mm tb will be fine for you unless you are going to highly modify the car. To big of a tb you will use low end torque. You will see gains with the explorer intake maybe 15-20 hp and maybe 5 to 10 hp with the tb
