Default I seem to not be getting fuel to my injectors and also maybe a vacuum leak

Ok i dont know if this could be caused by a vacuum leak or not, but what would stop fuel from getting to the injectors? I checked the little checker on the rail that is near the valve cover and fuel came out there but i think fuel might not be getting to the injectors..

after messing with the car some more and trying to get it to start, the car started only with me playing with the gas pedal while cranking and then i had to hold the gas pedal and would not go past about 700 rpm and when i let go of the gas the car shut back off...

Can anyone help???

no signal going to the injector to open. Severly clogged injector(s). Are we talking multiport injection or throttle body injection?

a vacuum leak will cause it to stall out (running lean)

fuel injected 5.0's are multi-port.

you have a vacuum leak.

could a bend in the fuel line also cause a big problem like the car not starting up or haveing problems where sometimes if you feather with the gas pedal it will start but as soon as you let the gas pedal go it shut off?

so there's one injector per cylinder? (8)

Anyways, I don't know about vacuum. You'd have to test and see if it's within spec.

is the TPS within spec voltage wise? How does the IAC look?

fyi hitting the gas pedal when starting the car cuts off the fuel on a fuel injected vehicle.

possible vacuum leak. get a small propane torch and just let the gas flow and move it around the engine bay when the car is running and listen for the rpm to rise. or u could spray carb cleaner. or better yet if you have a smoke machine u can can watch for where the smoke gets sucked in

derf00 yes there are 8 fuel injectors

had same problem.turned out it was just a clogged filter. fuel will flow through a bad f/f but not enough to keep it running.checking for fuel at the valve can through you off.spend 10 bucks and change the f/f.make sure you have volume and pressure first.
