Hi there,

Did you look at the IACV? You also might want to clean out the TB and reset your idle and go from there.

Hope this helps.

An alternator putting out 12 volts is not ok. Whoever told you that is an idiot. Do yourself a favor and do a 3G upgrade to the car, then try again.

tried everything, and it still died out last nite. i think its just time to do the alternator swap and hope it goes away.

iac is idle air control valve. it it attached to your t/b facing towards the front of the car.

OK, don't be so quick to condemn the alt. As the idle starts to drop, so will the voltage on these cars. Even though the charging system on these cars is inadequate, I would first see what's causing the stalling problem

As for the IAC=idle control valve. It's bolted to the side of the throttle body w/ 2 screws. Take it off and clean the passages as well as the ones in the t/b and the t/b opening w/ carb/throttle body cleaner.

N/M just saw it's a 95. I think the IAC is on the top of the t/b. Same principle though
