Default What to look for in late model Fox bodies

I'm currently shopping for a Mustang of this vintage*, and I was wondering if anyone had any tips on things I should be looking for to indicate if the car is worth buying?

I live in a snowy climate, where salt is used, so rust is obviously a big issue if the car was not winter stored. I'm not overly worreid about the engines condition, more about major problems that would be hard to fix.

* I may already have found one, an '88 hatch with newly rebuit engine and a body with some surface rust, but I haven't committed to it yet.

Thanks for the quick answer!

I've been carrying around a magnet with me to check wheel wells for bondo, but is there something else in those places you mentioned that I'm looking for, or just general condition?

By door pins, do you mean sagging doors?

If the torque boxes are cracked, will it be obvious if I look at it without getting the car off the ground?
