Default decided on a 308 but need help

i decided to go carbd cuz its alot cheaper.so im going with a 308 with a carb but dont no wich one to look at.can someone sugest one and a intake as well

what vfast said, edelbrock torker intake, holley 600 carb, afr 165 heads unless you're planning on racing it all the time, then 185's. If money is an issue edelbrock heads are almost as good as the afr 165's.

a guy at houston performace said a holley 750 with a victor jr would be good with 185's

If you're concerned about money then you probably don't wanna fork over the 1300 dollars for heads. Go get your stock heads ported and polished and throw some larger valves in. Save your self quite a bit of money and still get some good gains. Or you can ebay it and look for some good used heads, also take a look in the for sale section on this site.
