Thanks for the replies. The reason the switch keeps going out is because I have a heavy duty racing clutch and the plastic switch can handle all of the stress when power shifting.</P>

As far as wiring it straight, I noticed that there are a total of six wires (three on each clip)Does anybody know the two that need to be wired together to get the desired effect?</P><edited><editID>AIRBORNERANGER</editID><editDate>37945.2850462963</editDate></edited>

You should be able to by-pass it. A buddy has a remote starter on his ranger. He had to by-pass that switch to do it. So it can be done.

Do you have cruise control? It might require a clutch input to keep the engine from "running away" during a shift?</P>
