Starts but will not idle
Ok guys, I finally got the car ready to fire up. It will start but then shuts off immediatly. My PMS computer says it is not seeing the tps sensor. I have the correct voltage at the tps sensor and a 5 volt reference signal to the pms computer. I have been talking to doug at EFI systems and we are starting to think my pms is bad after only a couple years. My question is this....if i disconnect the pms computer and try to start it with only the stock computer should it run. I tried this and it would still only run for about 5 seconds but it smelled like it was flooded with fuel. i have 60lb injectors and a dbx meter calibrated for them. I have double and triple checked my distributor and everything seems to be ok. with the pms hooked up it would only get to about 800 rpms and then die, with no pms it reved to 5000 and then died.
Does anyone recommend any other kind of aftermarket computer like the tweecer or anything that is better than the pms?

I don't know if anyone is going to go near this one. Seems like the PMS, or PMSing- lol, computer is a standalone ECU. 60lb injectors are quite a bit, hopefully you have enough air to need all that fuel. Good luck!

Those injectors are still HUGE lol does it smell like its loading up with fuel? will it stay running if you spray something in the throttlebody like its choking of fuel? pull a plug hook up a tester and see if your losing spark after startup
