Default Replacing steering shaft

I have alot of play in my steering wheel. So im guessing i need to replace my steering shaft. Is this an easy job. What do i need to do exactly?

its self explanatory on how to replace it.. and get a MM shaft if you wanna get rid of the play in the wheel

this is a very poor way to diagnose whats wrong. there are several components in the front end that can cause excessive play in the steering wheel. I would suggest that you get the car up in the air and start shaking things down before blindly throwing parts at the car.

check your inner and outer tie rods, guessing will cost you more money then if you'd of taken it to a professional to have diagnosed

your rag joints in the steering shaft are probably loose mine had four bolts on the rubnber joint that were all lose i smoked em tight and steering wheel feel is much better its a good quick fix if your not looking to spend the money on a steering shaft
