Default wiring questions

ok since our Kbase doesnt have shyte for answers and before i start going wire pulling crazy...

what can i use of the 2.3 stang wire harness and what has to be the 5.0 harness? i figured i just plug in the computer from my 5.0 into the 2.3 harness and then plug in the engine bay harness from my 5.0 into the harness that goes inside the car which is the 2.3, am i right or wrong? can anyone correct me?

They are both 60 pin connectors so they may both plug in, but they may not have all the wires in the same places.
I suppose if you want to make sure it is done right I would go pin by pin with this reference, just to make sure that it is correct and move wires to the necessary spots. Hope this helps
EDIT: or add to the harness

According to the wiring diagrams I have the 2.3 has only one connector for the injectors where the 5.0 has two connectors for the injectors. They are different.

Just hop to the junk yard and pick up a main harness from a fox body, cougars and thunderbirds also should work.

The main harness doesn't take much to get to though.

yup i would rip all that wiring crap out from the cpu....then take your 5.0 one and move it...that way you can totally clean up the engine bay and not have to worry about holding the wiring up by your wipers
