Default DRIVESHAFT



My friend has a auto 94 5.0, he wants to make it manual, does the driveshaft need to be cut? I always thought it was shorter on a 5-speed.</P>

nope all 5.0 aod,t5 cars have the same length ds. only difference is the auto has a counter weight on it. i can take my frpp aluminum ds and put it my buddies car along with your car

ohsoquik is right, length is the same, but if hes doing a 5 speed, why not get an aluminum one anyway along with new u joints? Makes things smoother.

the frpp comes with 1330 u joints. i needed new u joints so i bought the ds. it sells for 159.95 part no. fms-m4602g

I thought that they said it matches up to the Spenic u-joints, but doesnt come with them??

what web site are those ds's at?,im very interested.So would they make care rev faster due to less wieght to spin?Where and how would a aluminum drive shaft help me.?

you can go to your nearest dealership and order it thru the parts dept. or since summit is dealer of frpp. that is where i quoted the price from. it is lighter and stronger than your stock one. i noticed a difference when i put it on along with lighter wheels[had those damm 10holes]

yep if you look them up in the summit catalog it shows they come with 1330s some strong
