i paid like 2500 to get my car painted a year ago, but, i think im getting it painted again.. new color.. but doing it myself.. my fatehr is gonna spray it, i wanted something that stands out like crazy and make u go holy *** i just creamed over that fox, what are some color options guys? i want something that is really glossy im going like 3 layers of clear.. maybe something with some wide stripes?

Im a sucker for black or any version of it. What about a black metallic flake? Maybe with some white shelby stripes?

well i looked at like 5000 fox pictures.. i really like that like dark charcoal color.. kinda like ealeanor, anyone know what thats called? i was thinking something like that.. with wide black stripes, and the saleen stripes on the side.. im thinking it would look hot.

my stock color is that charcoal grey. its actually a smoke poly i think the paint code came up as. its found as i know of on a 88

also repainting a car a different color is a bitch and apain in the *** to do it RIGHT.

you will need to totally remove the interior and the front fenders, bumpers, all trim, glass, moldings and motor and wiring. yes all that has to come out to do it right. if not then when you pull off any one of those parts youll see the stock red under it and it will actually make resale alot worse and make it look like crap. also the underneath of the car can be cheated by just painting it black, same with motor bay but you will need to pull fenders off cause under the wheel covers its the color of the car. also all metal inside teh car is the color of the car. look at the pics of my interoir youll see its still grey under there

yep i know, but i plan on pulling the engine and smoothing the bay out nd painting it, also cleaning up underneath and painting it too, and im pull the interior out for a cage, so no biggy. it is going to be done in the winter.

Sonic Blue would look badass .. a few ppl have that color and it stands out with like 2 wide black or white stripes
