I have one similar to that. I bought a direct fit one that came with an electric fan. It will slide down pretty easy once you have the fan out of the way. Definitely no need to take the bumper off for that. As for the tranny cooler that you may have to. I put a tranny cooler out front for my power steering and just zip tied it to the a/c condenser.

Does anybody happen to have a write-up on how to take the bumper / nose off? De-construction pictures would also be helpful

It actually is easy to swap with the bumper on, it would be a lot more work to take it off and put it back on nicely lined up.

Really not too hard. There are 8(i believe, possibly 6) nuts total, 4 down each side. leave the headlights/park lights in the header panel but unplug the harness. If this is a GT then there are 6 push pins that hold the bumper cover to that bottom support beam.

But I agree to leave it on. It will not make a difference for you.

Also, 2 bolts at the front/top of the header panel. Basically, to remove it you can just look and see what bolts you need to take out. It's rather simple.
