My buddy has a BBK quadrant and clutch adjuster with a RAM CF DF clutch... easy as stock. I have a MM quadrant and clutch adjuster with a generic heavy duty clutch... easIER than stock. Feels like a honda clutch in my car.
Your pressure plate/quadrant match is the problem, IMO.
