Default Clutch Cable/Quadrent Combo

I currently have a tripe hook upr quadrent with a frpp cable. I good friend of mine has all oem (quadrent and cable) and feels like he has hydrolic. My question is what is the best combo out there? Is the oem quadrent and cable the best? If so were can i get a hold of the oem quadrent?

Please help!

Nothing.
Just that after driving my friends car I get on my car and press on the clutch and have to do much more effort and i don't like that.

maybe your car isnt running a stock clutch, and his is?

I noticed no difference in pedal effort when canning the plastic stripped out stocker for the LateModel Resto adj kit and cable.

An old clutch cable can make a pressure plate feel like it's hundred of pounds heavier.

I have the same one I guess. It's the older Ford Motorsport Cobra (not King Cobra) clutch. It isn't that hard to push, but not as easy as a hyd. set-up.

one thing I have seen is that not all aftermarket quadrants use the same pull ratio and ramp rate as the stock quad. this can increase pedal effort while also decreasing pedal throw to effectively release the clutch
