Default Smog pump line

I have a 95 GT. It has shorty headers H pipe and flowmasters with no cats. Where the line attaches from the smog pump to the exhaust has rusted and broken off.

Can I just plug the hole in the exhaust and leave the hose/line open? Would this affect the performance?

Thanks!

yah, pretty much, but that pump is going to be loud, and sound like a major exhaust leak. you might consider scrapping it all.
