Default Trouble in the rear

I have been chasing a vibration using the search function here and I have found a few things I need to get help with.
I have found that there is a "bracket" under the front of the rearend housing that has 2 bolts and feels like there may be some rubber bushings. One side is tight to the bottom of the housing the other side is not. Is this supposed to be tight on both sides?

The other problem is I have noticed a drag feeling with a different type of vibration feeling at 55-60 plus the car is running hotter than it used to.
So I was thinking rear brakes were dragging I pulled the drums and the right side is full of what smells like gear oil plus the inside of the wheel is caked with grease and grime could be the cause of the high speed vibration.

Any ideas on these problems would be great.
Thanks
Duke

if you can tell more

but check the seals and bearing

maybe jack the car up and spin the tires by hand and see if you notice anything

also probably should check to see if there is any free play or movments in the axles

oh and check the diff fluid levels

Axel seals and check axel bearings. Check differential fluid level.

the first part of the post is the vibration dampner for the rear end. its not a crucial piece if your rear internals are in pristine condition, but as wear occurs, vibration will be there. if one side of it is bad, you will experience more vibration than if it was to be removed completely, or replace it.

O.K. guys I give up where do you buy your rear axle seals? I have called all of the major parts stores here and nobody has a clue what I'm talking about and when they do look it up they come up with some thing that looks nothing like what I have.
Thanks

what part stores are you dealing with. Perhaps if we had the names, we could supply you with some part numbers to try

They had the parts just couldn't figure out why the left one and right one were different but we figured out it was due to having a bearing saver on the left side. I put in new seals and fixed the bracket under the front of the rearend housing 80/90 gear oil with friction modifier cleaned the inside of the wheel.

Even after all this I put the car back together and still vibrations one when it's cold from 55 to 60. And another one all of the time anytime I get on it or run over 70.

The vibration at 55-60 seemed to go away after I got it warmed up. The other vibration was all the time even once it warmed up.
