Default Heater Causes miss

I had posted some time ago that when I turned on the heat 90 GT 5 spd. would start missing and the rpms at idle were all over the place. I used some carb. cleaner and sprayed around the vaccum lines under the hood but didn't get the increase in rpms like I thought I would from a leak.

While I was under the hood with the heat on I noticed a clicking coming from the right side (passenger side) of the engine bay. It seemed as though the clicking had a direct affect on the idle and the miss. Any ideas what would be opening or closing to allow vaccum to leak?
Thanks
Duke

clicking could be spark arcing out of the wires or from a bad plug, look at all the wires and look for spark arcing, to help you out mist the wires with a spray bottle of water and see if fireworks start!!

It's the a/c compressor kicking on and off real fast because it is low on refrigerant. It will cycle in every position except panel, off and floor. The a/c clutch relay is on the passengerside shock tower.

Unplug low pressure switch on your receiver/dryer and I'll bet it stops.

you were correct as soon as I unhooked the plug on top of the canister no clicking and the idle smoothed out guess I need to recharge.
thanks
