Like lxman said, I can't see them working either. I barely got the bolts that came with mine to work, no way the the stock bolts would.

The factory headers are severely crimped to allow the larger headed bolts to be used. Aftermarket headers are not thus the large headed OEM bolts will not fit. I have never had a header bolt problem with the standard header bolts. I installed my MAC nickel plated shorties back around 1990 and used the supplied paper type gaskets. I have never had to replace those gaskets. The bolts loosened up during the first few heat cycles as they all do, but I have never had them come lose since. I'll see how they do when I swap out engines soon and I finally have to use new gaskets.

Sorry I couldn't help answer your question

so like the percy gaskets, can the stage 8 bolts your talking about be used more than once? i ask because i know in the next 12 months i will be taking the turbo route but until then, im just freakin tired or hearing the crappy leak i have, and i also know im going to need a good gasket and bolt for the turbo manifolds so what better than to be able to re-use what i already have.....

They will last longer than you will!!!!!!!! You can use them over and over again. As long as you don't mess up the threads.

I believe what you are looking at are the Percy's Split lock header bolts. The Allen head on this is to set the threads into the head not to install. But, if you get the stainless they are still a great product. http://percyshp.com/store/index.php?...wCat&catId=412
