ok those heads are good ones. youll be fine even tho after i think 5k afr 165 kinda die off compared to afr 185s

its just that most NA cars only need a 65 TB. some can get away with a 70mm. its hardly known that a 75 or larger is needed. unless a boosted application

------personally, listing mods in sig is kinda worthless[this being that some ppl have to many mods to list in a small area]and then you can have ppl copy youre setup

---AFR supplied us with teh following flow data for the pair of heads we dyno'd for the test. it shows how the street oriented 165 heads stalls at .500 inch of intake valve lift, while the 185 head keeps flowing, albeit with slow improvement, all the way to .600 inch intake valve lift. exhaust flow is compromised at .550lift as well, and both heads flow the same on the exhaust because both heads use the identical CNC ported exhaust port and 1.600 inch valve...........that was taken from aug 05 of 5.0 mustang

with a cam like that i would probably use a 70mm. now with e cam i would of used a 65

and what maf do you have Pro M or C&L........curious cause you got a CAI and usually C&L and CAI dont work well together

a tune is exactly what you described. it will allow the computer to put all the new parts to full use. you may not need one to just drive around but to get the most out of your combo a tune is a must. you can see upwards of 70hp gain with a good tune. [this also depends on different combos, you may not see 70hp gain, maybe just 15 to 30 but still]
