Default vibration is back

I changed the u joints in my 94 gt about 2 weeks ago and it took care of my vibration. i was coming home from work today and it came back so i crawled underneath and it seems like the front u joint has play in it again. i have a new bushing in the tailshaft installed by a tranny shop and the spacer on the driveshaft that is required by the tremec 3550 swap. why are my u joints wearing out so fast?

what do you mean by alignment? the tranny is bolted in the only place it will go and the rear hasn't been moved at all so how can it be misaligned? and isn't that what a u joint is for anyway to make up for the angles?

u-joints don't make up for excessive angles, when the tremec was installed if you didn't maintain close to stock driveshaft angle, then yoke angle will be off, with the suspension loaded, you need to check the yoke for proper angle the u joint will make up for the occasional bounce in the suspension , depending on road surface, but when it's at its at rest/ normal driving position , it needs to have proper angle, if it rides out of proper angle for extended periods of time, joint will wear out

the tremec only bolts in one way like any tranny so i couldn't really change the driveline angle. it bolts to the bellhousing and is 5/8 of an inch shorter therefore i run the spacer on the driveshaft to make up the difference

the tremec isnt a T5, if you look very closely at it, you will infact see that the trans mount isnt in the exact same place that it is on the T5.. this causes driveline angle changes.

just like I told you last time you posted

after i lifted my truck, i didnt get a longer drive shaft. i drove it for a year with no problems despite the ds barely was in the rear of the tranny. one day the vibration finally walked the rear seal out and caused tranny oil to leak everywhere. took it to the shop to have it fixed. 50 miles down the road the same thing happened....why didnt i get a year out of the new seal? who knows...... same answer for your question. the first time around you might have just gotten lucky, as i think i did for the first year with my truck
