Default quick head gasket question (fel-pro wireloc)

The head gaskets im using are Felpro wire loc gaskets because my heads are o-ringed.

Now, i bought them from summit racing. They dont sell a kit, and they do not specify left or right. There is only one gasket to buy.

But when I got mine, they appear to be for the right side of the motor only, as the passenger side gasket does not cover the front coolant passage ports! It covers the rear

Driver's side

Passenger side

Rear of the block

Front of the block

Gasket flipped over to cover front passage's, note that there is NO "up" markings

So I should be alright by flipping the gasket "upside down" ???

thoughts?

Keep the front marking of the gasket to the front of the block regardless of which side is "up" on the gasket. I think what you'll have with the felpros is that the blue marking will be up on one side and down on the other. Definitely keep the front mark of the gasket to the front of the block though.

this is what I have always thought. But like I said, This is the only gasket you can buy, I made sure to check because I bought the gasket by itself, and didn't realize it was not a kit until it arrived. So I made sure to check, and found that there is no "left/right" gasket, its just one.

I might just have to call trickflow/felpro to see what they say.

I dont really trust there knowledge, but If it turn's out that there is a different head gasket I need, that they dont have, and did not list it on the one I bought, you can belive I will be calling to get my $50 back. (these are $56 each.)
