Rearview Mirror

I guess the glue melted on my rearview mirror, and anyways it fell off. I bought the adhesive, but couldnt get the silver button off the assembly. Does it come off? Sure would help put the darn thing back on.

It's held in by an allen screw at the bottom of the bracket. Unscrew it and it will come right out.
