Ok, my mustang is doing something new these days. When I start it up first thing in the morning, it starts fine. Press the accel, dies. Start up, press accel, dies. I have to start it, let it run for a few minutes, then it behaves.

Anyone seen this before? Tell me where to start troubleshooting?

Mine did the same thing. It was the ACT sensor (Air Charge Temp). Check and see if you have any codes, I did and thats how I found the problem.

I can't read codes from my pony. A ODB reader says "Unable to read from computer". And I tried it manually but the Check Engine Light just comes on and stays on. No blinks or anything.

Where is the ACT sensor in a 91 GT? I also noticed that when I do press the accel, there's a sound like air in a canister before it shuts off.

It is located in the front of the lower intake. Kind of a pain in the but to get out. You can do a google search and and find a pic of where it is.
