i like the 3" mac flow path mufflers, & they got pretty good flow numbers too, but then again all the others are good too. just whatever you like. try to listen to some other mustangs with different mufflers , then you will know which ones you want. good luck.

I've got flow's on my 95. They sound great with my bbk h-pipe and headers.

And you know your ride can't be pimped until X to the Z Xhibit makes it official.

Flows are horrible and everyone has them.Surprised your car doesnt, did you buy it new?Loud mouths are ridiculous and i dont personaly like the sound but to each his own.I'd get either borlas or magnapacks

If you plan on running an offroad mid-pipe, it'll sound very tinny.
If catted, wont be AS bad.
But still noticeable.
They don't sound that bad though when idle or slight rev.

And as for SLP LM1's, friend has em on his 98(Casper98GT)
He now wants them off, he says it's too undriveably loud.
And sounds too much like an F-Body.

And if you're looking for performance, go with a straight through muffler.

Not just being a Magnapack Fan-boy, but dynomax also makes a straight through muffler.
As does borla and some other companies.
I experienced this first hand..Pacesetter O/R H pipe and Flowmaster's..very very tinny..understand you're friends point about the Loudmouth's but you have to know what you are getting and really love having it loud all the time like I do..people ask me if I ever get tired of it and I don't I like hearing my car scream at all rpm's...but that's just me..everyone has their own tastes

For performance you do want striaght though not those chamber flows. i have dynomax ultra flows on my car if you are looking for another straight though design
