Default loss of oil pressure

i have an 83 gt with 50,000 km on the rebuilt 302. my oil pressure is starting to fluxuate. it usually ran between the M and the A ( on the word normal) and now it goes between the O and the M. I was thinking maybe the pick up or the sending unit. I cant see how it would be the bearings with low mileage. any ideas?

hook up a mechanical gauge to get a 100% pressure. If you don't have pressure then it could be the oil pump or shaft that is letting go.

Just replace the 'cheap' sending unit for a few dollars and see if it was that....
