Notchback = Mustang LX?

i herd that notchbacks also have stiffer structure because they dont have the big window

Look at the 2 cars in my gallery those are notchbacks the pics are a little off. i just alike them because they are different and you dont see many 5.0 notches

its all in the floor pan. just like the convert. has a different floor pan then the hatchs.more
reinforcments in the floor pan for the notch and converts.

Let's squash this rumor right now - the Notch isn't significantly lighter than the hatch.

1991 LX notch - 3037 lbs
1991 LX hatch - 3102 lbs
1991 GT hatch - 3191 lbs
1991 GT vert - 3327 lbs

Less than 100 lbs difference between the hatch and notch.
