Be sure to check all the bushings before you start spending money on parts. If your balancer is good, it could possibly be your U joint needs to be replaced.

i have been making alot of progress on the car in general.
just got it cleaned up and polished and some of the little things
im going to make it a project day at the shop to do the harmonic balancer, and then the u joints respectfully ( hopefully the hb fixes it up and im done )

like i said before im a noob to the stang scene but forgive me,

isnt the harmonic balancer rubber? like twenty somethin ounces and black...
it almost looks to me like it is missing its hb bc all i see is the pulleys and behind the pulley is a silver metal offset disc...?

Yup, the harmonic balancer is rubber and you should have a crank pulley located before the balancer.

Id recomend a Haynes manual or just look up parts you may question to see if the pics refer you to the item in question if that makes sense?
