Question Water temp gauge

I'm looking to add a water temp gauge. My question is...is it possible to keep the stock gauge working? and any recommendations on type and Brand?
I have an 86 mustang with a Cobra intake manifold.

Yup, you'll have to buy a fitting to tee it in to run both sending units. Most are using autometer gauges.
