Default diff cam ptv

the cam thats in the engine i purchased has 290/300 duration and .544/.560 lift but its not computer compatible... im looking at a comp cams cam that has 274/282 dur and .555/.565 lift...this cam would have more ptv cause of less duration correct?

every cam fits different. just because it has less duration doesnt mean it shares the same valve open and close timing... ultimately, you have to put it in and check


and a cam thats not computer compatible... LMAO.. thats funny I bet I could get it to run

are you swapping cams simply because of how it's labled??? as long as the firing order is H.O specific, you should be able to get it to run by setting adjustments properly
