Default Building my motor. a few questions

(going into my 87 GT convert) short block from 95 gt with .20 SRP pistons, installing gt40p heads, upper, and lower intake manifolds from a v-8 explorer. the intake manifolds come with the injectors and fuels rails, but not the throttle body. so QUESTION ONE: wat would be the best throttle body to use? and QUESTION TWO: will the gt40p heads fit and run correctly, as it came off the explorer, put straight on to my 5.0? and QUESTION THREE will my headers from my stock e7 heads fit the gt40p heads? thanks for any help and insight guys.

QUESTION FOUR: i planned on using my stock e 303 roller cam. good idea?
QUESTION FIVE: any insight on porting the intake and heads?

Question 1: 65mm
Question 2: Yes
Question 3: They will fit sure, but don't plan on using spark plugs.
Question 4: E 303 isn't a stock cam or a good idea
Question 5: They can be slightly ported, but not much.

If you are talking about your stock manifolds then no, they won't work. Find some MAC unequal length headers and use 90 degree boots.

ok, i went last night and picked up the GT40p heads, upper and lower intake manifolds. it came with fuel rails and the elbow, but not the throttle body or injectors. i found a different block im gonna use. here is the info i have on it. 5.0 HO out of 89 GT Mustang Fresh rebuild only has about 8 hours of run time

comes with altnator, new water pump, underdriven crank, and waterpump pulley
stock E7 heads, with 3 angle valvejob and new valve stem seals
new rings rod berings, main berings, and cam berings, all new freeze plugs
new high volume meloden oil pump
new harmonic balancer, new 9:1 pistons
Trick Flow Stage 1 Camshaft

the only other thing besides what was listed would be the cam specs, which are 499/510 lift intake/exhaust with 1.60 ratio rocker arms...it has stock rockers ....duration is 275/279*. it has very little run time a total of about 8 hours barely broken in has new prothane motor mounts. comes with a powersteering pump but it probly needs to be replaced new alternator, starter. I also think it needs a new tensioner which are reltively inexpensive, has stock TRW Forged crank and rods, Hyperutectic Speed pro 9:1 compression pistons, no smog pump and the ports for it have been blocked off at the back of the heads. new oil pump and pickup, factory aluminum valve covers. crank bolts ( for flywheel/flexplate) included, motor is painted new ford grey. also has new motorcraft plugs and wires, and motorcraft oil level sensor and factory distributor.

also im gettin a set of BBK shorty unequals

gonna take the e7's off and sell em.

should i go with 19 lbs. injectors?

already ordered a 65 MM TB

You'll probably be fine with 19's. If you do 24's don't forget you'll need a MAF too.
