5.0L (1979-1995) Mustang Technical discussions on 5.0 Liter Mustangs within. This does not include the 5.0 from the 2011 Mustang GT. That information is in the 2005-1011 section.

Another stupid question from me :)

Cool Another stupid question from me :)

OK some times my car does two wheeled burnouts and some times it doesn't. Why? Also, i want to be able to have both tires spinning all the time. What part(s) do i need. OR is that even recommended??

You need a traction lock rebuild.

posi is a chevrolet term. ford has trac-lok. same thing. both wheel spin at the same rate in a straight line. when you turn, the inside wheel looses some power so your tires don't hop, like a full out locked rear end.

ya you need to rebuild the trac-lock. its rather easy to do. just buy a rebuild kit or something.

A rebuild would be in order but if you want to try you can just drain your rear and add new fluid and new friction modifier. You might get more life out of what you have.
