Default 7.5 in to 8.8 in this kit work?

Will this kit work for converting my 7.5 inch to a 8.8 inch. And will I need different brakes for this kit if it does work, and what parts will I need to accomplish this.

+1, its not just internal parts that make an axle an 8.8, its also the housing

save yourself the headache and just go to a junkyard and pull out a 8.8 from a 98 and older stang.

if you go 94-98 you get 5 lug axles, and disk brakes

while your at it, you can grab the front parts too, and do a full 5 lug conversion
