Default wheel hop....Quad shocks????

i recently noticed that my car has alot of wheel hop lately when i floor it. are the quad shocks to blame??? it has a stock tire and wheel combo...225/60 16 or something like that...or 225/50 16...(and yea i know, it should have a wider tire in the back..but it will soon) anyway, what can cause the wheel hop?? rear shocks???

wrong.

the only way to permanently relieve the wheel hop issues associated with the mustang 4 link suspension is to run completely solid bushing in the rear of the car. this will create increased NVH, and can cause damage to the chassis of the car.

the BEST option, is to install NEW axle dampers. They are cheap, and readily available.

... i actually just put a set in my car

try running a taller/wider tire

also check your torque boxes make sure they are not separating

i'm still in search of a solution.. however inconveniently I did not change the axle bushings... but they are next.

thatll just make it worse. wheel hop is a suspension issue and not a tire issue. try pouring a bunch of water on the ground and launching on that. you wont have any wheel hop cause the tires will just spin. getting a wider tire (more traction) will just make the wheel hop worse

I agree with lucky. I run a 275 tire in the rear, and have both aftermarket control arms for the rear and i still battling wheel hop. I'm thinking of doin what adder says.

Adder which one would u recommend? Wouldn't changing the upper control mount higher change ur ic and give u more bite? Or am i totally off in this. Because i have seen online ones you can buy? Any thoughts... Be kind :P
