Default pedestal to stud conversion????

i have stock gt40 heads and i want to put some harland sharp rr's in them, but they only come in 3/8 stud, so is there a 5/16 to 3/8 stud conversion without drilling the heads?

Comp cams sells some. Why not use pedestals? They're plenty strong and stable, their only drawback is the small capscrew can pull out when you use aggressive cams with high spring rates. If you want to spend extra money, you could get a set of Jesel Sportsman shaft rockers that will bolt on to a factory head. I think they're around $650, but you'll own them for life and never have to worry about your valvetrain ever again.

Doesn't Trick flow sell some? Comp Cams, Crane(but they may not have the valvetrain stuff out now that they recently reopned). Do a search on Summitracing and filter through to pedestal, it'll list most of them.

converting pedastal to stud kits are a waste and have no added benifit cause the base where it screws in is still a 5/16 hole...just use pedastal
