Default Car won't start, I've tried everything!!!

About 2 months ago I was driving my LX when it died all of a sudden. Had to get it towed back home.

I replaced the fuel filter and it turned back on, but I kept having trouble turning it back on until a few days later it just died completely.

Since then I've done the following:

1. Tune up (dist. cap and rotor, spark plugs, plug wires, ignition coil)
2. Replaced the fuel pump (I cycled the pump and confirmed pressure by pushing on the schrader valve, which squirted out fuel)
3. Replaced the TFI Module
4. Replaced the starter
5. Replaced the battery

At this point, it turns over when I turn the key, but it simply won't start, and I'm out of ideas. Could it be the alternator?

Any ideas would be helpful.

Thanks!!

Shot in the dark here but, make sure the auxillary lead from the negative battery cable isnt degraded. I've fixed some problems like this before by repairing this lead....Good Luck

man with the cost of all those parts , you could of paid less to a mechanic for a quick and accurate diagnosis....not cheaper to slap parts, and no it won't be the alternator, if it cranks but won't start, check for spark or fuel or lack there of for 1 of the 2!!

Thanks for the link, mrj46. However, I don't see it as a loss.

I recently bought this car, and all of the parts I replaced were original, and it was just a matter of time before I had to replace them anyways.

So even after I fix this current problem, at least I won't have to worry about these other parts next.

Hopefully that article you linked can help me.

Thanks!

on a 93 , out under the hood IIRC BUT FIRST BEFORE WASTING TIME CHECKING THE RELAY.....spray some spray start in the throttle body, if it briefly fires up = fuel problem, also when you turn the key on briefly listen for a buzz in the trunk area....no reason to waste time checking components without first verifying the simple audible checks and or beginner steps in the process of troubleshooting to locate which system is at fault
