MAF sensor question
ok so im new here and im actually building a car for a freind...actually mainly the motor and i have a few questions on the MAF and fuel system.im more of a carb guy but i can do fuel inj just a little fuzzy at some parts.ok so here is a back ground on the motor
347 stroker custom grind cam for the stroke. ford racing roller rockers.1.6 roller rockers, stud mounts. twisted wedge FAST heads.with some CNC porting and bowl work.timing gearset. long tube flow tech headers (with the 02 bungs) 3in straight pipe dual flow tech mufflers. 80mm MAF 30lb injectors 255 lph fuel pump. 10.3:1 compression.
ok so the limiting factors are the stock intake and throttle body and the stock ignition system. we just ran out of budget
first what kinda power numbers are yall thinking here?
second im not too clear about the MAF i kno it has to be calibrated to the 30lb injectors but i think it may be calibrated for 42's. how can i check the calibration and how to i calibrate it for the 30 lb injectors im useing?
i have an auto enginuity scan tool...not sure if yall know what that is but its a laptop based scan tool that accesses the engine control systems and there is alot i can change around in the PCM...just not sure what i have to change to what. it has the enhanced ford software but the problem is it connects via a OBD II connection.now i know theese cars are not OBD II but do they at least have the connector....you kno thw one im talking bout looks like a triangle with the tip cut off usualy under the dash???
do yall think the 30lb injectors are too much for this motor?
that MAF is really the only thing thats really killing me here though.im gonna go with new o2 sensors and i am thinking that would be fine....couldnt find any o2 sensor eliminators nowhere.are the o2 sensors gonna need programing too?
pushrods.... the last thing is the push rods.they are lunati one piece .080 thickness but they are 6.250 length which i was told previously was stock length...but not so sure now, havnt torn apart his old motor and havnt got the car here yet just the new motor.just from reading a few posts in here.
its a pretty good build just wish we had a little more on the budget for a good intake/throttle body and coil/distributor
ok so what do yall think and how do i take care of the problems i have with calibrateing the MAF and the push rods? are 6.25 push rods safe to use?
thanks in advance jr

Well your ignition system dosent need changing, just add msd or mallory box!
Changing coil want get a hotter spark and distibutor wont do crap either!
the coils all make around the same voltage (45-48000V) and the dist just puts it where it needs to go.
yeah if they break upgrade then but not just because the red looks cool LOL!
MAF recal not sure on unless you have an aftermarket eng man system, you could change it thought that!
Pushrods yeah stock length! How do you know there too short? i mean other than them falling out from between the lifters and RR!
The TFS heads normally have to have atleast a 6.75 pushrod!! you can get a checker but i bet on 6.75! that puts you 1/2 in too short!
the obd port is a I unless you have 94 and up car! they are obdI cars but have obd II hookups!
