Default caster/camber plates needed?

I have a 94 Cobra and purchased the Tokico strut/shock and spring kit. This will lower the stang 1 1/4". Are caster/camber plates necessary? This is my daily driver. I want to avoid the extra cost but if you guys recommend it then I guess it will need to be done. Thanks for any info....

For sure. You should also consider a bumpsteer kit. Anything that low will need a bumpsteer kit as well.

Agreed. You can get some pretty cheap C/C plates if you don't want to spend a **** load of cash.

I have had tokico struts/shocks before on my 06 gt. They did fine. Especially for the price. I am not looking to spend more money than the $419 I spent on struts/shocks and springs.

you are going to end up spending the money twice when you find out that im right.

heres a pic of my car with the ford springs that come in that kit.... looks stock, doesnt it.

IMHO, you should get some H&R SS springs, the shocks are good though, but I'd rather get something adjustable

Please, take this advise, I bought the same kit... and its CRAP

That is with an 1 1/4" lowering?

Doesnt the H&R lower to much, where it causes pinion angle problems?

Do you have a pic of your car with H&R springs?

I do not, sadly. However, any pinion angle issues you MIGHT have, can be negated by the next mod you will want to do. Upper and lower control arms.

Its best to do these while changing the springs, since you have to remove the shocks and springs ANYWAY...

make sure you get a set with adjustable uppers, so you CAN set pinion angle

(fwiw, the pinion angle is crap from the factory, and should be set anyway)

I never heard of the H&R springs messing up the pinion angle... those are my next mod if the tax return is nice and good
