need help with check engine light
after recently driving my car, the check engine light comes on after about 15-20 min of driving. it starts to flash, sometimes goes away...or it will stay on idle and ill give it some throttle and it will go away. today i noticed after it came on my volt gauge started dropping and it died out. any ideas

as long as it is on... you can have it scanned for free at autozone or pep boys
will probably give multiple codes... post the codes you get and someone will give you an idea where to look.... some of the codes are typical and nothing to worry about

66 mass air flow sensor circuit below minimum voltage
12 idle control fault
94 torque converter clutch solenoid circuit failure
44 air injection control system failure
Im hoping these definations are correct as im not near my OBD1 Ford book right now and i took these from a random website. - http://www.2carpros.com/trouble_code...cury_codes.htm

Check to see if the MAF is receiving a 12v source. Then with a DVOM and a wiring diagram, you can test for voltage fluctuations from the MAF as the engine is running and rpm's raised.
Im sure you can find a 'how to' online in testing MAF's
